DLS Spring Sports Celebration

DLS’ Spring Sports Celebration will be the morning of Saturday, April 26th. Registration forms were sent home last week. Spots are still open for the baseball and softball clinics. Learn techniques from Randy Skaggs, Schlarman’s Softball coach and Adam Decker, DHS and Post 210 coach. Clinics cost only $15! A free cross country race will be run before the clinics. Adults are invited to run in a 5 or 10 K off road cross country race also. DLS Golf Outing will be on May 10 at 1:30pm at Harrison Park. Registration and lunch will be at noon. Call 431-2266 to register your 4-some. Call the school office at 442-5036 for details of the SSC or to register for the clinics. Business sponsorships are also needed! Date Changes

Please note that the Spring Musical’s date has changed. It will now be on Friday, May 2 at 7:00pm and Sunday, May 4 at 3:00pm. Ad sales will now be extended to April 18.

Items Needed

Needed for the DLS Spring Musical: Crazy costumes! If you have any of the following, please consider loaning or donating them to the music department to use for our upcoming musical. Or if you are a rummage sale goer, you might find some good items at a sale. Thanks for your help! crinoline (can-can), tu-tu, rainbow suspenders, bright colored suspenders, puppets (any kind), 60's hippie-style vest with fringe, peace sign necklace, neon hoop earrings, crazy hats, feather boas, colorful vests, crazy leggings (girls size 10/12 up to adult M/L), crazy glasses, etc.

8th Grade Fundraiser

The 8th grade class is raising money for their class trip to Chicago in May. They will be having a free will donation car wash on Saturday, April 19 at Watson Tire. Watson tire is the big blue building on the corner of Buchanan and Main St. Come get your car washed and support the 8th grade class!
